Career and Placement Talk
Please be informed that we will have a Career and Placement Talk on February 18, 2011 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at USDA Culinary Theater. Job opportunities are open to all CCA, Manila graduating students, alumni and Oceana graduates.
Speakers will be:
1. Horizon Recruitment Pacific Corporation
• Mr. David Pascoe is the CEO of HRPC International recruitment counterpart in Canada, Recruitment Solutions International Ltd. He has been instrumental in bringing hundreds of Filipinos to Canada, both through healthcare and non-healthcare employments.
• Mr. Dave Fritz, on the other hand, is the Managing Director of Chilis Alberta. As a franchisee of the international restaurant chain, he owns and manages 10 Chilis restaurants all over Alberta, Canada. HRPC is fortunate to be working with him to bring Filipinos to work for his chain of restaurants, in particular as Kitchen Helpers and Line Cooks.
2. Source Asia: Holland America
A speaker from Source Asia will present the opportunities on-board the ships of Holland America Line. They are looking culinarians to fill in the following positions:
• Assistant Cook • Demi Chef de Partie • Chef de Partie • Sous Chef • Chef Tournant • Pastry Chef • Assistant Pastry

Renovation at CCA, Manila
Effective January 11, 2011, entrance and exit along Katipunan Ave. will be temporarily closed due to construction. Cravings customers and CCA, Manila students and employees will use Esteban Abada St. as entrance and exit access. Due to limited parking space in front of Esteban Abada, parking for CCA, Manila students and employees will be at Patrick’s Parking Area.
