Janice Lazaga wanted to be a doctor of medicine. She pursued a degree of Nutrition from the University of the Philippines as a pre-med course. While taking a break overseas prior to medicine proper, however, that constant little voice-not-far tells Janice, to turn her cooking skills into art forms became a persistent prod. This constant little voice was her mother's, who always saw a culinary jewel-in-the-rough in her daughter. Janice gave on to the prod and went on to the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA), Manila.
Get hold of the latest issue of F&B World (March-April 2008) with Malacañang chef and CCA alumna Janice Lazaga.
